SAFE-H2O.COM features the best water filters available, including Doulton ceramic filters.
We began researching filtered water after hurricanes Charley, Frances, Ivan, Jeanne (2004) and Katrina and Wilma (2005) affected many municiple water systems in South Florida and the Gulf Coast. Many people were without water completely, and others were under mandatory boil water orders due to contamination. We know also that our drinking water sources contain various contaminants from industrial and residential runoff and seepage. Even though our municiple water may be treated, it contains residual amounts of contaminants at least, and may at any time be compromised due to storms, construction accidents, and deterioration of the treatment systems over time.
Welcome to SAFE-H2O. You probably arrived here because you are concerned about the quality of your drinking water, whether from a municiple source (tap water) or from a sealed container. You realize our water is not as clean and pure as it used to be. Since there is plenty of information published about water quality, and the quality varies from place to place and bottle to bottle, we only focus here on the solution. Using Doulton water filters, you once again have control over the quality and purity of your water. An economical alternative to bottled water, filtered water gives you confidence in what you are drinking.
Doulton Drinking Water Systems - Making The World's Water Safe to Drink Since 1827
Doulton ceramic water filters have been continually manufactured for over 170 years. The first water filters were manufactured in the early 1800's at Doulton & Co.'s Lambeth works on the banks of the River Thames. At that time Cholera outbreaks were a common occurrence and Doulton water filters soon began to play a vital role in controlling this disease.
The early innovation associated with the Doulton name has continued well into the twenty first century with an increasingly sophisticated range of water filtration products being developed to meet the needs of modern water purification systems.
